My name is An (/æn/) (she/her).
✰ What is my background?
Born and raised in Vietnam/ lived in Boston (go Tufts Jumbo!)/ studied Human Factors Psychology, Studio Art with a specialization in Digital Media, and Engineering Management/ 2+ years of experience designing user experience (and many years making art too)
✰ How did I get into design?
I have always been a visual storyteller. My design journey began with early explorations in visual arts and graphic design. Since taking my first UX design class during college, I knew I wanted to grow beyond being a visual designer. I pursued product/ UX design because of its interdisciplinary nature that combines visuals, psychology, and data analysis.
✰ How do I approach design?
I blend human-centered systems thinking into my process, tackling complex challenges by staying grounded in the needs of diverse users while understanding the interconnected UX dimensions - from lower to higher-order experiences. I enjoy turning complex, ambiguous insights into actionable solutions that align user needs with business goals, whether for B2B/SaaS or B2C products.
